    Anansi the Spider: A Tale from the Ashanti Summary ½ 102 Anansi the Spider, A Tale from the AshantiThis is a wonderful Anansi story It's easy to read aloud to kids and it really engages their imaginations and introduces them to the characterI bought it to supplement the European and Alaskan Native folk and fairy tales in my preschool classroom for our storytelling theme The kids loved it and it was always in rotation during uiet time and free play At Home my own children were glad to see it back after the theme and my 6yo has taken to acting the story out with his stuffed animals
