Enjoy Me kindle ß eBook Paperback Enjoy Me Enjoy Me is a very compelling and thought provoking read a little too crude for me in all fairness that's totally subjective so take it with a grain of salt but the author's talent and imagination is very impressive throughout dreaming up a powerful story and bringing fantasy to life in a way that could easily rival Fight Club or Donnie Darko It has stuff to appeal to horror aficionados and fantasy fans alike but best of all is the mental transformation of the main character which is both evocative and startlingly strange all at once Probably not a book for everyone but it's definitely well written It's deeply uniue and creative and one I'd recommend

Enjoy Me kindle ß eBook Paperback Enjoy Mecalling a book surreal means nothing so I guess saying that these linked stories all revolved around the waking nightmare or schizophrenia of the protagonist Luke a mash up of leading men from Bret Easton Ellis Hunter Thompson Irving Welsh strained through Bukowski and sent down a narrative path David Lynch would approve of would be accurate a decidedly 21st century late 20th century novella

Enjoy Me kindle ß eBook Paperback Enjoy MeDevoured this over a span of a little over 6 hours Occasional typo was distracting but was easy enough to ignore with the brilliant imagination Logan Ryan Smith has Demented chaotic and deliciously twisted Enjoy Me gives the concept of an unreliable narrator a new face An acid trip gone horribly wrong and I loved every page of it

Enjoy Me kindle ß eBook Paperback Enjoy MeThis is the third book I’ve read by Logan Ryan Smith this year and he has fast become one of my favourite authors He is a master of stream of consciousness prose unreliable narrators and vivid dream logic Enjoy Me is no exceptionThis is presented as a collection of short stories but feels like a stash of vignettes from a scrapbook of Luke’s life Some are close to making sense some are not Some inform the context of others some obliterate what you had taken as truth It has all the confusion hilarity and despair of an unhinged mind if it could be recorded directly on paper At first I thought of it like the thoughts of a wr

Enjoy Me kindle ß eBook Paperback Enjoy MeThis was weird And kinda gross And interesting And well written And funny at times I liked it a lot Luke issomething as a protagonist He's a creep sometimes and pathetic at others and likeable once in a while It's hard to know what's real and what it is he's actually done I don't know if I could handle this character in a full novel but a series of collected stories was a fun approach The story with Bret Easton Ellis was downright hilarious I'm pretty excited to see there is a second book
